Situated a stone’s throw from one of North Cornwall’s most glorious sandy beaches, this immaculately presented bungalow provides a perfect array of features allowing you to relax in style after a day of adventures.
This Cornish retreat is just 200 metres from the paw-friendly sands of Widemouth Bay. The stylish abode sleeps four guests and one furry friend (from October to March) and, with its sociable, open-plan layout, is the perfect bolthole for spending quality time with family and friends. The seaside resort of Bude is just 3 miles away, and can be reached via the South West Coast Path.
The bungalow has a contemporary style, with neutral paintwork acting as a backdrop to colourful soft furnishings and seaside-themed accessories. The heart of the home is a lounge/kitchen/diner, with ample space for the dog bed and hard floors throughout. Unwind here, rustling up delicious feasts in the sleek kitchen area and dining at the breakfast bar or dining table. Just off the kitchen is a handy utility area for storing dog-walking gear. After dinner, retire to the vibrant lounge area to watch the Smart TV or relax in the conservatory with a glass of wine. The property has three super-stylish bedrooms and a family shower room. To the rear of the bungalow is an enclosed lawn where the hound can play and you can dine alfresco at the picnic bench. There’s also an outdoor shower for cleaning sandy toes and paws, and a sunny seating area to the front of the property.
Enjoy windswept walks along the 2-mile shore of Widemouth Bay with your furry chum, or stride out along the South West Coast Path for exhilarating hikes with jaw-dropping views. The picture-postcard village of Boscastle (12.5 miles), with its natural harbour and white-washed cottages is the perfect place if you’re looking to switch off and embrace nature. Much of the land surrounding the village is owned by the National Trust, and you’ll find a myriad of tracks and trails to explore with Fido.
