Penrith (10 miles) and Keswick (11.5 miles) are vibrant towns with plenty of dog-friendly places to eat and drink. Dogs are welcome at attractions including Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum, Derwent Pencil Museum and Whinlatter Forest Park (all within 16 miles).
