This studio accommodation is an ideal romantic bolthole for couples but also for solo travellers who want walking trails on the doorstep, with fells like Skiddaw just 5 miles away.

Escape to the Lake District with your two dogs and a loved one and stay at this cosy property in the heart of the bustling, dog-friendly town of Keswick. Whether you enjoy sniffing out adventures on long hikes, taking to the water or simply sitting back and soaking up the views, this is the perfect place for your getaway.

Open-plan living means plenty of space for both humans and dogs to lounge around and take some time out in this studio apartment. Situated over a single floor, large windows flood the rooms with lots of light. The contemporary kitchen has everything you need to rustle up a delightful homecooked meal before curling up on the sofa and watching your favourite films on the TV. Pop the dog beds by your feet so the canines can keep warm from the underfloor heating. When it’s time for some sleep, head through to the delightful bedroom. A shower room with a waterfall shower head completes the interior of the apartment. Outside the apartment is a patio with a BBQ and seating.

With walks on the doorstep, you’ll never be short on places to find a new leash of life. Climb Skiddaw (5 miles) or Grisedale Pike (5.5 miles). If you are feeling adventurous, try the challenging Blencathra (6.5 miles). Enjoy Derwentwater (2.5 miles) for strolling alongside, or try out kayaking, and paddleboarding. Keswick has an abundance of dog-friendly restaurants and pubs, and a wide range of shops for you to peruse. Head further afield to the cascading Aira Force Waterfall (13 miles) or take a trip on the Ullswater Steamers (16.5 miles) which welcomes dogs on board.

  • Arrival: 15:00 onwards

  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £150 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £20. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Ideal studio for two people and a pet as its so close to the town but also has a lovely park area just round the corner. Well laid out and the shower is really good with plenty of hot water. No parking space for the studio but at least you can unload/load vehicle by using the side alleyway to the property. Plenty of parking available in streets offRead more Penrith Road so no problem unless you want the car every day. All in all one that we would rebook in the future. Hide

Its the location with the close proximity to the town that makes it attractive. Its well equipped for just two people. Would certainly stay again especially now we know the ins and outs regarding parking.

A cosy hideaway in a superb location. Literally a short stroll to the centre of Keswick. Parking wasnt an issue, we found a space within a 5 minute walk. It might be more difficult in peak season though. Overall, would definitely recommend. Superb value for money for its location.

Well equipped , cozy studio. Very comfy sofa with foot stools. Comfy bed with warm duvet. Powerful shower. Plenty of hot water. Location is perfect. No parking but pricing reflects and you are okay to pull car in front to unload. Loads of free parking close by. Fantastic location, so close to town we could t have been in a better place. Cosy and comfy the underfloor heating was so warm when we arrived and throughout our stay which was great as the weather took a cold turn halfway through the week. Parking was easily accessible in the surrounding streets and only an issue on Christmas light switch on nightRead more, so we paid to park in the towns car park just across the road. Great location. Everything you need is there. Literally pack your towels and toiletries and thats it. Great little yard for the dogs.

Perfectly situated for the town and the main road for the day trips out of Keswick and if you have pets fitz park is practically on the door step. Otley Road car park is a minute away and you can buy a permit for less than 29 for parking. Great week away.
