Part of a delightful and imaginative barn conversion, this bright, cosy and spacious apartment is perfect for families, walkers and cyclists discovering this spectacular part of the Lake District.

Immerse yourselves in the stunning beauty of the Lake District when you take your perfect pets with you to this enticing holiday apartment near Little Town, about 5 miles from Keswick. Sleeping four guests, as well as a pair of pups, this inviting, two-bedroom, ground-floor retreat sits within a former barn that nestles in a simply idyllic location. Grab the leads and strike out from here through the magnificent and verdant Newlands Valley. Venture 3 miles to set tails wagging with all – or a section of – the 10-mile, circular walk around Derwentwater.

Open the front door to this handsome stone holiday home after each of your Lakeland walks and call your four-legged friends through into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Settle in here with them for a while in front of your favourite TV programme or call them over to the kitchen area to give them a well-earned drink of water and a hearty dinner. Prepare something for everyone else to enjoy over at the dining table and pop any damp doggy towels into the washing machine. Settle your cheerful chums for the night then lay your head in either the double bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom, or the twin room, with an en-suite shower room. Wake up each morning to take your delighted dogs for a morning stroll before returning for breakfast and a cup of tea out in the sunshine at the table in front of the apartment. You also have shared storage space for cycles and outdoor equipment, and parking for two cars.

Stride out from home with your happy hounds bounding beside you to see the Moss Force Waterfall, just under 3 miles from the apartment. Walk or drive 5 miles to scenic Buttermere to take furry feet on an exciting 4.5-mile loop of the enchanting lake here.

Lovely setting and nicely fitted out barn conversion. The noise from guests in the upstairs part was a bit of an issue, but we did know about this beforehand. Newlands Valley is stunning and we were blessed with good weather.

Spent a week here at Newlands Cottage. Perfect place to relax, chill and enjoy the views. Great location to walk from as loads of walks from the front door. Stunning views with Catbells on your doorstep. Clean, modern, ten minute car journey into Keswick. The cottage is on the ground floor so the noise from people upstairs might bother some people. Dog friendly, but there is a farm right next door and it isnt secure, so wandering sheep mean they must always be on the lead.

This cottage is situated in a beautiful location, walking from the door step with a short drive to Keswick and Buttermere. This cottage has so much going for it but it is let down by a poor standard of equipment, 3 dinner plates in a cottage for 4 people was the tip of the iceberg for us, its tired and needs some TLC which wouldnt take the owner much effort, it also didnt come across as having been cleaned after the last occupancy which is disappointing

Great location if you like an away from it all break, stunning views. The apartment is comfortable with everything required to make your stay memorable. The one downside was having an unexpected apartment above us and having to listen to heavy footfall every morning and evening.

Lovely apartment, well equipped and tastefully furnished. We had a very comfortable stay, the only downside being the noise from the people in the apartment above, especially the creaky floorboards. A super cottage, immaculately clean and warm. Well appointed with everything. Beautiful views and fabulous walks from the cottage. Unfortunately we could hear the tramping of feet in the apartment above due to lack of insulation in the floor. We had a great time all round in spite of this.
