This delightful property, situated just 5 miles from Christchurch, is the ideal holiday home for couples or small families that want to get away for an active holiday with their beloved canine companions. Sleeping four across two welcoming bedrooms and with space for up to two dogs, it won’t be long before you’re up and about exploring the New Forest National Park and the coast. Grab your walking boots and go for an 8-mile circular walk from Hinton Admiral (7.5 miles) through Bransgore, or pack a picnic and spend the day on the beach at Hengistbury Head (8 miles).

The cabin, which is adjacent to the owners’ home, has an inviting atmosphere. The open-plan living space has a cosy feel that’s perfect for unwinding in on the sofa in front of the Smart TV, while the kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm. Eat out on the deck in warm weather, or get your grill on at the BBQ and relax in the bubbles of the sunken hot tub while it’s firing up; the pups will love rolling around on the shared lawn. At bedtime, snuggle into bed among tasteful decor that gives you the impression that you’re sleeping within the trees.

There are plenty of family-friendly trails at Moors Valley Country Park (7.5 miles), including Gruffalo statues to find, or you could pay the deer a visit at Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary (18 miles). Let the hounds go mutts on the small beach at Mudeford Quay (6.5 miles) where the grassed area behind is great for playing on. Sniff out clues along the self-guided Bournemouth Codebreaking Walk that starts by the Big Wheel (9 miles) and learn about local history, including Frankenstein author Mary Shelley’s connection to Bournemouth.

Lovely wooden chalet style cabin with all the amenities. Not glamorous, but super cosy furnishings and all the better for that. Space great for our three adults and two dogs. Decking area would be superb to sit out on in summer and hot tub hit the spot during a cold and very wet February half term. Dogs had plenty of zoomie space in the garden areaRead more. Secure off road parking. Food in local pubs top notch (especially The Lamb and to my surprise, The Elm Tree) Hide

Really enjoyed stay, ideal location, close to good pubs and walks. Easy access to dog friendly beaches, unfortunately Hot tub wasnt working when we got there, which was one of our requirements but couldnt be helped and owners did try to get it fixed even getting someone in on a Saturday but couldnt resolve issue. Unfortunately these things happen.
