Escape to Dorset for a romantic getaway filled with bubbles and beach trips – pop open a bottle of fizz on the decking and jump in the hot tub after fussing over Fido in the quirky and cosy Alpine-style lounge with a wood burner. During the daytime, explore the nearby coastal walking trails, sandy beaches and buzzing seaside towns.

Make yourself at home in this cosy couple’s cabin with wooden interiors, elegant furnishings and a sociable open-plan living area. Sink into the sofa beside the feature wall while the wood burner warms cold feet and paws. Next to this is an intimate dining table for two where you can enjoy candle-lit dinners made in the one-wall kitchen with an island and grey cabinets. Nearby on the complex is a small pond which is visited by resident ducks.

During your stay in a rural location on the edge of the New Forest National Park, you’ll be surrounded by countryside with plenty of opportunities for taking Fido on strolls through nature. Visit the nearby Matchams Viewpoint national forest (6.5 miles) or explore the Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve (6 miles). Dine out at a cosy pub and pick up any essentials at the market town of Ringwood (4.5 miles). Head to the coast to find vast stretches of sand between Southbourne (6.5 miles) and Bournemouth (8 miles).

Perfect. The little thoughtful touches made it special. The owners have considered everything to make the stay as comfortable, dog friendly and stress free as possible. Very private and peaceful but within easy reach of villages, towns and lovely walks. Great balance with so many bonuses i wouldn't know where to start!

We had an amazing week at the lodge! It was absolutely perfect and had everything we needed. A lovely, private getaway in a great location we enjoyed plenty of walks and visited some fantastic places. It was exactly the relaxing break we both needed, and well definitely be returning!

Lovely lodge on the outskirts of the forest. In lovely grounds and a fantastic base for us and the two pups to explore the New Forest. The cabin was lovely, small, but had everything you need. Our only criticism was the garden area which was covered in pine needles, laurel leaves & berries, we had to watch our dogs closely in case they ate the berries.

We had a fantastic 5 day stay with our 2 dogs at the lovely Lodge. It has beautiful decor, comfortable furnishings, gorgeous garden with outdoor seating & a fantastic hot tub, everything is catered for. We had an amazing stay. The Lodge was pefect for a relaxing break. The facilities were excellent and in immaculate condition. The atmosphere was beautiful and peaceful, but with in close driving distance to all the beaches, villages and a lovely local pub in walking distance. The gost were freindly welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.

The cabin itself is nice, in a lovely location in the owners grounds. It is far smaller than the photos project though. The road next to it is quite busy, and it's right under the Bournemouth Airport flight path, so expect to hear planes every few minutes. We stayed in The Lodge for my birthday weekend, wow what a place tucked away nicely secluded was a lovely place to stay we will definitely be returning. Such a peaceful location, a real sense of 'getting away from it all' the hot tub was very relaxing and we also enjoyed the occasional quack from the ducks! Amazing place to go and when they say dog friendly they mean it poo bags on the gate, water bowl and boot room for muddy paws. They have really thought of everything. Theres a 5 minute walk up the road to a bridal walk which we did and was a lovely walk, the cottage it self is a lovely place to stay and very cosy we didnt want to leave. The retreat had nice furnishings but we found it hadnt been cleaned to a good standard with lots of cobwebs and dead bugs in the kitchen cupboard. The bed was uncomfortable and the shower floods whenever you use it. It is also close to a busy main road and on a flight path which proved hard to sleep at times. Staying in the lodge at the coach house with our 2 dogs was more than perfect we stayed for 2 weeks and didnt want to leave its beautiful as are the grounds the owners are lovely and have thought of everything the lodge is fully equipped there was nothing that I needed and the space worked so well the boot room is also well stocked with fans an iroRead moren even picnic backpacks. Its well placed to visit different areas of Dorset Hengistbury head is a must visit would definitely stay here again Hide

Lovely place but needed cleaning better. Bed uncomfortable and creaky. Place was riddled with ants including flying ants, nest obviously in ceiling and owner was aware but was not informed.
