This single-storey retreat has an open-plan layout, creating a bright and spacious area where you can all spread out and find your own little spot to relax. After a long dog walk, sink into the comfy sofas with a good book or perhaps enjoy a quick siesta in one of the gorgeous bedrooms, complete with Smart TVs. Pack a picnic and head to Kedleston Hall for a tranquil afternoon in the grounds of the stunning 18th-century mansion. Pick up a map on arrival, and stroll around one of the marked trails. The Wilderness Walk is particularly relaxing, passing through some of the oldest woodlands in Derbyshire. Alternatively, journey over to Carsington Water (25 miles away). You can walk around the entire reservoir and there is a fabulous selection of water sports available for the adrenaline seekers amongst the group.
