Sitting peacefully on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, escape to this charming barn conversion with your four-legged friend and enjoy being explorers by day and cosy by night. Spacious and bright, this home sits over two levels so you can find yourself a quiet corner, or enjoy communal evenings chatting, laughing and barking to your heart’s content.

Downstairs, open-plan living lets light flow through the property, beautifully complementing the delightfully calming interior. Kick back and relax on comfortable sofas and invite your furry friend to curl up at your feet on the fluffy rug; be sure to turn on the log effect electric fire to keep the cold at bay. Fresh and bright, the dining area is a wonderful space to enjoy meals rustled up in the Smart kitchen which is well-equipped for all foodie occasions, including prepping picnics or whipping up three-course treats. All three bedrooms boast en-suites, making getting up and ready easy for all. Wake up feeling refreshed and revived after a night’s sleep in these tranquil rooms. An additional family bathroom with overhead shower is located downstairs and makes washing off muddy paws a simple task. Allow soggy fur to dry off in the enclosed courtyard whilst you enjoy an al fresco coffee or a relax in the wood fired hot tub.

Harness up and head into the National Park for spectacular stick-chomping, splashing and fetching spots and views. Enjoy wanders close to home, or travel 41 miles to reach Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales. The local village of Fairbourne is great to visit for a bite to eat and a stroll along the dog-friendly beach. Seaside destination Barmouth is a 13-mile drive or a short journey on the seasonal water taxi.

We spent a glorious week at the Middle Barn with amazing views of the sea and the mountains. The barn is beautifully converted, spacious and comfortable, surrounded by stunning countryside and lovely walks. Our host was very friendly and welcoming. Loved our week there!

Throughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful cottage it was very spacious very well equipped and was spotlessly clean we would definitely recommend it to both family and friends and hope to return ourselves in the future thank you for a lovely stay

Lovely clean cottage, very welcoming owners. Close to many excellent walks. Hot tub excellent once it warmed up. We recommend George III for dinner, advise booking during school holidays. Lovely walk from the cottage through Fairbourne to Barmouth with lunch at Fanny Talbot

The cottage was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The sofa was especially comfortable, and the kitchen had all the basic essentials we needed. One point to note for dog owners: while the property is listed as dog-friendly, its more accurate to describe it as dog-tolerant. Dogs arent allowed upstairs, this wasnt in the listing but a sign was up Read morewhen we arrived. Ideal location for beach and mountain/ hiking. Cottage was spotless, beds really comfy and all essential items were provided. Peaceful rural location. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely cottage in an amazing spot with lots of walking, towns and sea side to enjoy just a short drive away. My family and I had an amazing time and we will most certainly be back for more adventures.

Middle barn is a bit like Doctor Whos tardis. From outside looks rather small and unassuming but when you walk in the door it is perfectly lovely. However, be prepared for the untidiness of a farm!

A lovely quiet setting. Plenty of space for four adults and a dog. Plenty of equipment for self catering. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub ( especially in the rain!).

The cottage was extremely spacious and well furnished. It was lovely and warm with no need for heating upstairs. The owners were very helpful especially with the wood fired hot tub. Would definitely recommend this holiday cottage.

Lovely cottage. You do need a car. Very comfortable, though the large sofa sagged when you sat on it. Didn't use the hot tub, so can't comment on it. Bread, milk and Welsh cakes were provided for us which was a nice treat. Didn't meet the owners, however they did get in touch quickly when I messaged them. Nice a secure cottage, I would be happy to Read morestay again. Hide
