The picturesque village of Broadway is a popular destination for people wanting to explore the honey-coloured stone cottages and antiques centres that this location is famous for. Guests to this stunning traditional property could not be situated in a better position from which to be able to do all this and much more. Within easy walking distance of the tree-lined Broadway High Street, this charming chocolate-box cottage is a warm and cosy retreat from everyday life. Perfect for up to six guests and a furry friend, adventures are just a ‘walkies' away.
Stepping through the pretty wooden front door you'll find yourself in a welcoming open-plan lounge/dining area with period features such as an exposed brick fire surround and wooden ceiling beams adding to the unique character. Thick fleece throws are draped over deep sofas and a window seat provides a prime spot to observe the comings and goings of the street beyond. The three double bedrooms are decorated in soft pastel tones and feature snuggly duvets and fluffy pillows, ready to soothe you into a deep and restful sleep. Outside there's an enclosed courtyard garden that would provide a lovely spot for Fido to stretch his legs in the morning whilst you enjoy an early morning coffee and watch the sunrise.
Broadway Tower, a unique Capability Brown folly tower, is just 4 miles from the property and offers a wonderful day out; one of the UK's best viewpoints with unrivalled views across as many as 16 counties, it truly is a sight to behold. Take a packed lunch and pick up the Cotswold Way from here, letting Rover take you on a 5-mile circular walk through the Broadway Tower Country Park, continuing to Fish Hill picnic area before returning to Broadway where you can refresh with a cup of tea in the cafe.
