We are searching for both the best and the funniest musical dogs out there!
We know there must be many talented pups – from cavapoos to bullmastiffs – that happily howl along to the radio with their pup parents or like to have a go at playing piano, but haven’t yet had the chance to demonstrate their amazing (or amazingly bad!) talent to a wider audience. We want to give them that chance.
What counts as musical talent?
You’re not limited in what your superstar can do – if your dog barks, hums, grunts, sniffles or gurgles a tune then you may be on to a winner. They might even play a musical instrument or tap dance to a beat. We aren’t picky just as long as your four-pawed pup has star power, we want to see what they can do!
Have you got a whole choir at home? There’s no limit on the number of dogs that can enter either, so if your dog pack can hold a tune and have dreams of becoming a rock band or pup group, we’d love to see your musical mutts in action.

We want to open it up to every canine in the UK to demonstrate that they have what it takes to make it as a Pup Star.

- We will review all the contestants and contact you if your dog bow ‘wows’ us!
What will my dog win?
- A £500 voucher to stay in one of our dog-friendly cottages
- Your dog will get the sought-after accolade of being an official Canine Cottages Pup Star 2022
