There’s no better holiday feeling than when you arrive at your cottage and discover it has everything you need for an extra-special break away, so all that’s left for you to do is simply relax.

At Canine Cottages, we believe dogs should enjoy that holiday feeling too. 

That’s why we’ve created our Canine Comfort collection, a range of dog-friendly cottages with extra-welcoming touches for our four-legged guests.

Barns Farm, Devon

Barns Farm, Devon

Sleeps 4 dogs and 8 humans

This tail-waggingly good dog-friendly retreat is set in rolling countryside on the edge of the popular North Devon village of Langtree. Welcoming 16 paws and 16 feet, Barns Farm is a brilliant option for a group get-together, with plenty of social spaces to unwind after tiring everyone out with endless walkies through the Devon countryside

The humans of the group will adore curling up in front of the wood burner or unwinding in the bubbling hot tub, while the hounds of the pack will be in their element with the huge lawn and adjoining field where they can go mutts.

Brewery Cottage, North Yorkshire

Sleeps 1 dog and 2 humans

If you’re looking for a couple’s retreat with your four-pawed third wheel, this charming cottage in Richmond has something for everyone. Enjoy picturesque Yorkshire walks along the River Swale or venture further afield to the Yorkshire Dales or North York Moors before returning to your stylish home from home at Brewery Cottage.

The hot tub outside is the perfect setting for a romantic evening spending quality time together (with your partner, that is), and the contemporary wood burner is sure to tempt tired toes and paws at the end of a busy day. With a décor that combines characterful charm with modern style, this is a brilliant base for a memorable break all together.

Famed for its epic mountain and lakeside walks, the Lake District is a brilliant destination for a holiday where your furry friend can take the lead. And Damson Retreat is a fabulously dog-friendly place put your feet (or paws) up after all the adventures around nearby Kendal and Lake Windermere. 

With ample space for ten humans, this renovated farmhouse boasts two wood burners for cosy evenings in, or you can dine all together and reminiscence on the day’s walkies with a BBQ in the large garden while the hounds have zoomies around the lawn.
