Stop off here for a festive treat to warm the hands and paws after exploring the Cotswolds and civil war battlefield sites or the pretty town of Tewkesbury, with a huge list of chocolate-orientated treats and tail-waggingly wonderful food to choose from. The owners even have their very own chocolate-type treat to make your canine experience extra special – their chocolate Labrador Alfie is a huge hit with everyone who visits!

Lusty Glaze Beach restaurant is popular with holidaymakers and locals alike, but even more so with woofers on a Wednesday. From midday, the eatery opens its doors to hungry hounds (and their two-legged dinner date) to raise money for the St Francis Home for Animals, and is a much-loved weekly event in their diary. Time for a dog-friendly holiday in Newquay? We think so.
