This cosy cottage has something for everyone, including a gorgeous garden, and shared use of a games room, play area, tennis court and junior football pitch. One of three cottages in the grounds of the owner’s farmhouse, it’s just 1 mile from Trefeglwys, and is surrounded by views down the Trannon Valley and beautiful countryside for walking, sailing, birdwatching, and fishing.
The living/dining room is on the first floor to make the most of the views, with space for a doggy bed in front of the flame-effect electric fire, comfy sofas and sliding doors to the balcony. There’s also a smart dining area. The kitchen, with a breakfast bar for quick eats, and utility room are on the ground floor, along with the two lovely, light bedrooms: a double with an en-suite bathroom and a twin/super-king-size, and a separate shower room. Outside, you can relax on the first-floor balcony, or have a BBQ on the front patio. Fido will want to explore the grounds and kids of all ages will love the shared facilities, which include a games room with a pool table, air hockey and table tennis, a children’s play area, a junior football pitch, and a tennis court.
You’ll find a pub in Trefeglwys and the market town of Llanidloes (4 miles away) has a wider choice of shops and supermarkets. There’s great walking for you and your canine companion from the door in the stunning unspoilt countryside nearby or head to Hafren Forest (12 miles) for woodland wanders. There are also lovely walkies around Clywedog Reservoir (10 miles), and you can have a go at sailing, go fishing and do a spot of birdwatching there.
