Pet-friendly cottages & accommodation in Worcestershire

Undulating hills and the River Severn make up much of the county’s glorious landscape

With a cathedral city as its focal point, much of the rest of Worcestershire is rural, offering the perfect escape to the Heart of England. Its many claims to fame include being the home of the Morgan, the traditional sports car, Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce, and having an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the form of the Malvern Hills. The Vale of Evesham shares the northern border of the Cotswolds, and the River Severn running through the heart of the county makes staying at our pet-friendly cottages in Worcestershire a picturesque affair.

The beautiful Malvern Hills contain some of the oldest rocks in Britain, not that your canine companion will be too fussed about that when they’re having a nice long w-a-l-k. With so many new things to see and explore, both you and your dog will be more than content strolling the mini mountain range, revelling in the tranquillity of your surroundings. If the eight-mile ridge is a little excessive, Evesham Country Park offers an amble through a variety of landscapes from open fields to riverside paths, and since it’s free of other livestock, your dog is free to make poochie pals with other hounds they’ll meet along the way. If neither of those appeal, the riverside walks along the Severn are sure to appease both dog and owner, with stunning waterside vistas and trails taking you through idyllic towns and villages.

The county town of Worcester is situated on the banks of the river, making for a picturesque location to venture to. Rich with history thanks to its links to the Civil War, its Tudor buildings add to the interesting architecture, and the cathedral creates a striking landmark, whilst the abundance of shops and restaurants lend themselves to the perfect leisure stop for retail therapy.

We have plenty of dog-friendly cottages in Worcestershire for you to choose from to make your next holiday pawfect for you and your four-legged friend. Take a look at our dog-friendly accommodation in Worcestershire and find your next break away with the dog today.
