This beautiful detached property offers the perfect holiday accommodation with far reaching countryside views, peacefully tucked away in the village of Exton, in the heart of Exmoor National Park.

Set within Exmoor National Park, this beautiful detached cottage has fantastic walks right from the doorstep. As you explore the vast and dramatic landscape, there are some quaint villages to explore where you can rest, refuel and ‘paws’ for thought. The property is perfect for couples and small families with up to three dogs. Dine under the stars on the raised decked area with your faithful canine companions by your side.

This single-storey cottage is light and spacious, with calming subtle grey and green tones running throughout. The large covered porch is ideal for storing muddy wellies after a countryside walk or drying off your four-legged friends. A comfy corner sofa in the open-plan lounge/diner invites you to settle back in front of the wood burner and Smart TV with your canines curled up at your feet. Sit round the dining table to enjoy meals cooked in the Rangemaster oven or take them outside on to the sunny enclosed decked terrace for a spot of al fresco dining. Wake up to lovely views of the countryside from the king-size bedroom before letting your canine companions lead the way on a new adventure. Bowels and a comfy bed are also provided for your four legged friends.

With so much on your doorstep, you won’t be short of ideas when planning your itinerary. From the property’s front door, wander with your beloved hounds to the local village pub in Exton which always has a friendly welcome for dogs – and delicious food for your entire pack. Or there are excellent coastal walks to sniff out along the South West Coast Path. For those looking for a little more hustle and bustle, the seaside town of Minehead is 13 miles away, while the long pebble beach at Porlock (12 miles) is sure to set tails wagging.

Lovely and clean property with very well equipped kitchen. A quiet location, ideally situated to explore Exmoor as well as both Somerset and Devon, we had a lovely walking holiday with our dogs. We've been back 2 days and the dogs are still tired! Only downside was the end of the garden is stock fencing covered by hedging, not enclosed enough to keRead moreep in a terrier. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable with a garden area and raised decking to sit on in the sunny evenings. There was good access to Dunster, Minehead and other villages around and many walks nearby. The access was down an unmade up road and turning a large vehicle round at the cottage was tricky. There were many available programmes on thRead moree TV but finding live stations was problematic, perhaps because the system had only been installed the day before we arrived. Hide

This is a beautiful property in a secluded area but also close to all of the wonderful sights on offer. We had an amazing time, myself and my two dogs, on our first holiday away together. The owners could not do more to help and my dogs adored them, so that was great. Lovely stay for four adults and a dog. Spacious and well set out holiday cottage. Small scare when dog shot through hole at end of garden but probably our fault for not noticing. House in very tranquil location and had the benefit of a lovely fire. Location quiet but easy enough to get to historic sites and beaches.

Zephyrs is a very peaceful, tucked away cottage and provided us with a good touring base for the local area. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dog and the outdoor terrace area was lovely on a sunny afternoon. Owners were very helpful and friendly, we had an issue with the modem on day one which they sorted out immediately. Would recommend.

On arrival at the cottage, it was lovely and warm. Plenty of logs for the fire and the welcome package was gratefully received. The host was very helpful with local knowledge of places to eat and local walks (as we had our Labrador with us).
