The dream for most people when looking for a holiday cottage is to find one close enough to a beach to be able to walk there whenever you want to – and it’s even better if you’re also able to catch a glimpse of the ocean from one or two of the windows. This pretty lodge-style accommodation is just a short walk away from a beautiful sandy beach and offers incredible sea views aplenty! This is the perfect holiday home-from-home for a family looking for a bucket and spade break where up to three canine companions can join the adventure too.

Packed full of character, there are quirky features scattered throughout this cosy three-bedroom cottage. Separated into two detached parts, you enter the first half via a hallway that leads you into the main lounge - a warm and welcoming space with a wood burner and big squishy sofas to sink into after a long walk. The snug at the back of the house has dual aspect windows offering uninterrupted views across Freshwater East. The three bedrooms offer flexible sleeping quarters that will suit most families with children. The kitchen/dining room is housed in a separate building just a few steps away.

Pembrokeshire is the UK’s only National Park with a coastline, and its famous Coastal Path winds its way right past the bottom of the garden, meaning scenic ‘walkies’ are never far away. The walled seaside town of Tenby can be found just 9 miles from the property, where you’ll find a fantastic selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Whilst in the Tenby area, pay Heatherton World of Activities a visit. Open all year round and offering both kids and canines an extensive range of fun activities, this is a day out the whole family will enjoy.

Lovely cottage with beautiful views! We loved the decor and exploring the local beaches and coves. There is a great access to the beach round the corner near Jacks for easier access to the beach as we used for our disabled dog in her buggy. The path next to the freshwater inn was a good route easy to walk from the cottage, steep back up. We would rRead moreecommend the Dial Inn, Lamphey and Rose in Pembroke for food. We would return in a heartbeat fab little spot! Thank you for letting us stay! Hide

A very unique and carefully thought out place. We loved its eccentricity, it was like accessing a little bit of historical charm - took me back to my grandma. The access to walking and the beach is exceptional. A place to savour quiet, calmness without TV, modernisation; to unwind from lifes stresses..
