Detached property, perfect for walkers and beach lovers with an abundance of walks and a short drive to the coastline and wonderful beaches, this is the perfect spot to enjoy scenic Pembrokeshire.

This stunning property, situated just 6 miles from sandy Broad Haven Beach, is the perfect place for large families or groups of friends – and up to two canine companions! Sleeping 12 across six peaceful bedrooms, this holiday home is an opportunity to relax in style in a tranquil setting while still being close to beaches and countryside. It’s a half-mile walk to St Ishmael’s Church then a further short walk down to Monk Haven beach where it’s usually quiet. Or if you’d prefer some woodland, Slebech Park (16.5 miles) has 600 acres of woods to explore and riverside paths to follow.

The house, which has a spacious entrance hall that holds lots of tourist information about the Pembrokeshire Coast, is bright and airy. The huge kitchen diner is flooded with light and blends the traditional and contemporary perfectly, while a striking feature fireplace and soft lighting in the lounge beckons you to sink into the sofas with your pups by your feet. Sleep soundly in the cosy bedrooms; wake up among calming pastel colours and head to the garden for your morning coffee. Sizzle up a BBQ out here in the summer or, for an easy dinner, pop to the dog-friendly pub that’s just 160 metres away.

Make sure you take a trip to Pembroke Castle (15.5 miles) where you can explore endless passages and tunnels before taking a walk around the medieval town walls and millpond. You could also walk the grounds of Picton Castle (16 miles) which has 40 acres of footpaths as well as an adventure playground and exotic jungle garden. Sniff out fossils along Marloes Sands (4.5 miles) which is dog-friendly all year, or see the huge pebble bank at Newgale Beach (13.5 miles) that was deposited during a storm in 1859! Your hound is welcome on parts of this beach all year.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £200 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

Lovely cottage in a great location to visit Pembrokeshire. Some of the issues raised at onset of holiday were dealt with promptly, some of the other issues remain to be actioned. Very spacious, clean and comfortable holiday home, excellent position in the village. Really good facilities, one or two bits lacking or need replacing such as wine glasses and tea towels but hopefully these will be addressed and didn't distract from our enjoyments. On the description it says there is a pub in walking distance there is but it is closed . That was a big disappointment for us as we booked it because of that fact .

Lovely location and a spacious property .Needs some updating and tlc. It is well placed for access to the coast and Milford sound. Overall we loved the cottage, only 8 of us so we were comfortable. The location is great. We had a very good week and were lucky with the weather. Lots of walking and beach visits. Boat trip around Skomer was brilliant. The house needs a washer drier and not just the washing machine and the kitchen utensils were ok but could do with some extras. KiRead moretchen itself was lovely and nice utility room. Overall very pleased and happy. Hide
