This beautiful, contemporary-style lodge is situated in the perfect location for you and your family to enjoy a peaceful trip away. The Lake District offers some of the best walks that promise to set tails wagging and the holiday resort this lodge can be found on has some great facilities including a gymnasium, heated indoor swimming pool, a steam room and a beauty spa, along with a private hot tub situated at the lodge. Situated in the quieter area of the holiday resort, this lodge has a charming secluded feel to it.

Sleeping up to four people plus your four-pawed friend, with one double bedroom and one twin, this lodge has plenty of room. The spacious kitchen/lounge/diner is the hub of the lodge which is made light and airy by the placement of French doors and the use of neutral colours to decorate. The lounge area with its corner sofa is the perfect place to put your feet up at the end of an adventure-filled day. With the kitchen right there, you can easily rustle together some snacks and drinks for an evening of cards or a family movie.

Just 13 miles away from Carnforth you will find yourself in the heart of the Lake District National Park, where watersports, cycling and hiking can all be found. For the little monkeys you can book a Treetop Trek or the Treetop Nets for them to bounce, tunnel, swing and climb their way through the heights of the park. Carnforth itself is well worth exploring, with its famous railway station that featured in the romantic 1945 film, ‘Brief Encounter’. Leighton Hall, just 5 miles outside Carnforth is a must visit, with its caterpillar maze, birds of prey displays and the beautiful house and grounds to explore. Your furry friends are welcome in the park area, but don’t forget their leads.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The lodge is stylish, clean and modern. It has a very pleasant location overlooking a duck pond, and the facilities in the main park (gym, pool and spa) are great. The bar/restaurant is a pleasant place to eat and drink and it is dog friendly. The lodge would benefit from some small refinements. For example no outdoor furniture to allow us to use tRead morehe outdoor space. Despite this we enjoyed the stay and the surrounding areas are lovely. Hide
