Surrounded by rolling hills and lush green fields in the heart of Devon, this idyllic cottage is ideally located for an escape to the country. Discover a new leash of life as you wake to breathtaking views and let the dogs run and play in the adjoining wildflower meadow as you sip your morning coffee and watch on. Sleeping four, it’s perfect for families or small groups of friends looking to relax and reconnect.
Exposed bricks, stones and original beams add country charm and character throughout this property, with thoughtful details helping you feel right at home. On cold winter evenings, curl up in front of the wood burner for a fun film night in front of the Smart TV – there’s even underfloor heating if it gets really chilly. Plan the next day’s adventures in the warm and welcoming kitchen/diner before dipping into your own private hot tub on the enclosed patio. There are two light and airy super king-size bedrooms, which can be made into twins on request. You will find plenty of off-road parking available.
For walkies, you and your four-legged friends will be spoilt for choice, with the rugged scenery, rolling hills and woodland of Dartmoor (20 miles) and Exmoor (18.5 miles) waiting for you to explore. Torrington (5 miles) has a myriad of footpaths and cycle paths to wander too, linking directly to the famous 180-mile long Tarka Trail. And of course, no visit to North Devon is complete without a trip to the beach, so head 11 miles to Westward Ho! and enjoy its 2 miles of golden sands; dog access is restricted here in the summer, although Peppercombe (17.5 miles), Northam Burrows (13.5 miles) and Clovelly (23 miles) beaches allow dogs to get their paws wet and sandy year-round.
