This detached property is situated on the outskirts of Braunton, with restaurants, shops and pubs just a short drive away and the burrows/beaches just a short drive provides a great base for a family holiday in the heart of North Devon.
This luxurious family home is the perfect base for exploring all that North Devon has to offer, from long sandy beaches (3 miles away) to the rugged moorland of Exmoor National Park (14 miles away). The village itself is hugely welcoming of dogs, with many eateries and independent shops happy to have four-legged visitors.
The spacious property sleeps eight guests and one furry friend. Enter the light and airy entrance hall, where you can store all your dog-walking paraphernalia, before moving into the lounge. This large area has ample room for you to all spread out and relax and from here French doors lead onto the patio area, so Rover can drift in and out. The spacious kitchen/diner is a great sociable space, with a chic breakfast bar where you can gather for morning coffees together or chat as dinner is being prepared. Outside, the level, gated garden has bags of room for the pup to charge around, whilst you relax in the hot tub, chill out with a book under the gazebo or challenge your fellow guests to a game of table tennis in the summerhouse.
Just 0.5 miles from the property you’ll discover Braunton Great Field. This medieval open strip field, dating back to the 13th century, covers 350 acres and is the perfect place for the hound to stretch their legs. There are many beaches along the North Devon coast, but if you want to find your own little tranquil spot, head to Crow Point (3 miles away). Accessed via a toll road, this sandy beach is rarely busy and there are beautiful views across the water. From here, stride out along the 3-mile stretch of sand towards Saunton Sands or head into the dunes to marvel at the 400+ species of wildflowers in the unique biosphere reserve.
