Peacefully nestled within the fringes of an established meadow enjoying shade from the mature trees, the hand crafted railway carriage is just perfect for couples looking to escape the real world.

This peaceful handcrafted railway carriage is ideally located on the fringes of an established meadow near to the Brecon Beacons National Park. Sleeping two people and welcoming two dogs, enjoy a romantic escape, with the pups along for the ride, or some well-deserved R&R for just you and your furry friend. After a long walk on one of the many nearby trails in the national park, return home and unwind in the hammock in the garden, or take a dip in one of the natural plunge pools while Fido plays on the lawn.

Relax and enjoy the view through the double doors from your comfy chair as Rover warms himself by the wood burner-effect electric fire. Rustle up nibbles and tapas in the well-laid-out kitchen area and dine alfresco on the covered terrace. Stargaze and toast marshmallows on the firepit as you hatch tomorrow’s plans of walkies and adventures. Retreat inside to your cosy double bed to enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep and awake to the sound of birds and the babbling brook that skirts the property. Open up the double doors, letting in the fresh country air, and enjoy a coffee in bed while a happy hound rolls around in the grass.

Let Fido take the lead on a historic discovery of Raglan Castle (7.5 miles). Head into the Brecon Beacons National Park and leave no leg unstretched and no smell unsniffed on the Sugar Loaf circuit walk (7 miles). Wander through a deep wooded valley and across moorland before climbing the iconic Sugar Loaf Mountain and soak up the stunning panoramic views stretching across the park, Severn Estuary and beyond.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A relatively high-tech hut (it has a tv, flushing indoor toilet and EVERYTHING!), but still really peaceful and secluded. The brook was lovely to paddle in and the porch was great - could still be outside even through all of the rain. Lots of birds around, including a kingfisher! Seeing that was a definite highlight. All in all, a wonderful break fRead morerom reality. Hide

We had an amazing stay for our first wedding anniversary. The location is beautiful and secluded. Surrounded by fields, the hut is hidden away down your own private track. So much thought and care has gone into the construction and decoration of the hut; it's a cosy and comfortable little haven. The owners were great, not that we needed to contact Read morethem whilst we were there as they have thought of everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be back. Hide

The wool washers hut was a perfect tranquil location with very good facilities especially for the size. The surrounding grounds including the stream were really pretty with the relaxing sound of water running over the weir. The cottage was completely isolated with no other buildings visible a totally idealistic spot .
