We're a family of 9 and would recommend Wooda as a lovely place to escape to. It's in a small hamlet so noise is not an issue if you just want peace and quiet. There's a lovely firepit by the stream at the bottom of the garden for relaxing around after a day body-boarding or surfing at one of the nearby beaches. You can walk to the coast path from Read morethe house and enjoy a walk (or run) in either direction. The pub at Hartland Quay is an excellent destination if they are not using it for filming. Hide

What a lovely family holiday we had in Wooda. The children had such fun in the gorgeous garden, fishing in the stream, toasting marshmallows on the fire outside - idyllic. We had lunches at the Mill across the road, or if busy, John would provide a takeaway to eat in our own garden (bonus of no wasps!) . We appreciated the tv upstairs when the weatRead moreher closed in - and the table tennis/games room was popular! Very comfortable. Hide

The location and grounds are amazing and very peaceful, the house is well equipped, comfortable and large enough to accommodate two families. There is no mobile signal so great if you dont want to be disturbed but has a house phone and WiFi. We would highly recommend this property

We all had a wonderful time at Wooda.the garden is amazing so much character with secret paths leading to secluded seating areas. It's very comfortable and we felt at home straight away. It's close to many toddler attractions and lovely sandy beaches. I would definatly like to return one day.

Great place to stay. Our two 6yr olds (one a human and one a whippet) loved playing in the amazing 3 acre garden and doing pooh sticks in the stream. We had a group of 7 people and all of us had a brilliant holiday. We hope to return one day.
