This Stunning recently refurbished for 2020 property is a bright and spacious cottage, perfect for couples, friends and family to escape the stresses of everyday life. With many attractions close by there is plenty for everyone to enjoy.

Escape to North Yorkshire with your four-pawed chum, choosing this stylish property as the base for your adventures. Tucked on the southern fringes of the North York Moors National Park, the cottage is part of an impressive complex with access to shared gardens and more walks than you can shake a stick at. You and your pack of four humans and one accompanying hound will feel right at home thanks to the charming interiors, beautiful surroundings and thoughtful welcome pack brimming with delicious goodies.

 

Leave your worries at the door and prepare to relax as soon as you enter the sleek and stylish lounge, curling up on the sofas in the front of a log burner with a glass of wine in hand. Catch up on some TV viewing in the lounge/diner while the canine companion snoozes away at your feet, enjoying the cosy setting with its tasteful decor and homely accessories. Mealtimes are a treat thanks to the contemporary kitchen and bijou-style additional dining area. Upstairs, each bedroom is beautifully dressed complete with a private en-suite for hosing down muddy paws. Outside, the enclosed courtyard garden beckons for summer drinks, and you’ll be able to wander the shared rose garden and orchard at leisure.

 

Sniff out the best places to explore from the moment you head outside, wandering to the nearby Raptor Viewpoint to stretch Fido’s legs less than 1 mile away. Your sea dog will be delighted to discover the dramatic North Yorkshire coastline less than 12.5 miles away. The Victorian resort of Scarborough is nearest, offering a traditional take on seaside holidays with a historic twist thanks to the imposing castle ruins overlooking the town. The North Riding Forest Park is an exciting place to chase rabbits 11.5 miles away, so be sure to pack the camera and look out for the resident wildlife.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful place. Hayley was fabulous especially helpful with the use of the EV charging! The cottage was very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a fabulous holiday and would definitely recommend and return.

A fabulous cottage in a beautiful location. The owners (who live onsite) were incredibly helpful - lots of useful info before we arrived and nothing too much trouble once we were there. The cottage was incredibly peaceful and right in the countryside. Good sized rooms (king and twin or superking), both with en suites. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully and tastefully furnished and decorated. Everything that we could have needed was very thoughtfully provided. The welcome tray was fabulous - by far the best we have ever seen. The towels and blanket for our dog were very welcome and much used. Wold Cottage is an unbelievably beautiful holiday, we didn't want to leave! Wold Cottage is delightfully quiet with the silence only being broken by bird song - so valuable in this day and age. The surrounding gardens are also very beautiful and we were amused to be shown around by the cats! We had a great stay at Wold Cottage. Its in a lovely little village and in the countryside on the edge of the forest yet fairly close to some of North Yorkshires towns and cities. The cottage has everything you need and it decorated really nicely. Our dog loved the orchard and rose gardens. We found it a great base to visit Whitby, Saltburn, SandseRead morend and York, which are all less than an hours drive. The cottage is great value for money and nice and peaceful to relax at. Hide

A beautiful cottage furnished to a very high standard. Lovely remote location but ideal as a base for exploring the vales, dales and moors as well as local historic towns and cities.

Fantastic cottage fully equipped and lovely welcome from Hayley, the home made loaf of bread was especially yummy and the rather delicious chocolates. Super walks from Farm and well situated. The Anvil pub in the village was lovely. Thank you for making our stay so lovely definitely be back.

Wold cottage is perfect for 4 people and can also accommodate 4 plus a baby or toddler. We were kindly given a z bed for our toddler grandson as we were worried he would fall out of the divan bed. Lots of outside space for young children including a play area. Our grandson enjoyed playing hide and seek. He didnt want to go home at the end of the weRead moreek! Local pubs provide some excellent meals, plus numerous farm shops and an outstanding butchers nearby. Lots to do within a 12 mile radius. Hide
