The traditional touches continue with an original stone floor in the hallway, which leads you to the cottage kitchen where you can rustle up a meal for your loved ones. There are enclosed gravelled patios to the front and rear, offering plenty of spots to soak up the peace and tranquillity, while your canines explore and sniff out new smells. Guests are also welcome to use the large shared garden where there’s a pretty, unfenced pond.

It won’t take long to get those tails wagging with the fantastic walks to be found here. Less than 2 miles away is the scenic South West Coastal Path which provides access to the unique clifftop ‘Hawker’s Hut’, a popular local trail. Head to the seaside town of Bude (6.5 miles) for a wander, before visiting one of its many sandy beaches where furry friends are free to roam and make new pals of their own. Owners were so kind and welcoming. They had provided everything we needed down to milk and sugar and tea bags. Even oven gloves. So many things that we haven't had in other holiday places. The gardens were beautiful, the dogs were friendly and there were ducks and bantams wandering about. Amazing place!
