This cottage is set in a rural village location which has no local shop. Needs new kitchen. Remove Carpet from living area and tiled floor (dog friendly!) New mattresses. Tired furniture. Lighting needs to be upgraded as very dim with lights on. Damp patches on walls.

A very nice little cottage, beautifully situated in the countryside but within easy reach of Sherborne, Dorchester & Weymouth. The elevated decking provides a great opportunity to sit and enjoy the scenery & peace in the summer (sadly we visited in October, so it was not as warm, but still very enjoyable). We would recommend it.

The cottage is situated in a wonderful area with plenty of good restaurants to choose from within a few miles. All were dog friendly. There are many attractions to choose from and walks that suit both active and elderly dogs. A peaceful retreat!

We felt that the property was generally inadequate the fridge very small and kitchen was not fit for purpose. The bathroom is so small it was difficult to use, the whole property felt like it was bear minimum not what we expect from a rental property.
