Fantastically located in the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, adventurers with both two and four legs can escape here for the perfect getaway. Start your day by jumping out of bed and exploring your surroundings. Picnic at the beach or savour tasty fish and chips before returning home to snuggle up by the open fire which keeps guests with tufty paws and fluffy tummies warm on chilly evenings.

Unwind in the bright lounge where you can put your feet up and watch TV as those with paws request a tummy tickle and a tasty titbit. To rustle up something more substantial for hungry guests, step into the open-plan kitchen/diner and make use of this well-equipped space. Once everything is ready to serve, sit down for a communal meal at the stylish table where you can exchange ideas for your next exploration. An after-dinner tipple can be enjoyed in the garden, shared with other on-site properties, although it is not enclosed so keep an eye on the antics of young and furry guests. When eyes need a rest and it’s time for bed, climb the stairs to reach the bedrooms, two of which are treated to en-suites and all of which are pleasantly decorated for a peaceful night’s sleep. The additional family bathroom means mornings are easy and queues to freshen up are quick.

The delightful seaside village of Seahouses is on your doorstep; pop on a lead and head to the harbour where you can jump on a boat to the Farne Islands and discover wonderful landscapes and nature. For a frolic in the sand and sea, Bamburgh and its sandy beach lie 3.5 miles from home, where you can also visit the historic castle with its exciting tales of years gone by.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

White Sails was easy to find and we were so impressed with it. Huge house, great location, beautifully decorated and well equipped. And the neighbour was really lovely too!

A well maintained property absolutely ideally placed in Seahouses. Parking for 2 cars but ramp up to parking area steep. Scraped exhaust on one of our vehicles.

Its a bit of a squeeze through the archway with a medium to large car, but made more difficult because the double yellow lines either side of the entrance are ignored by drivers using the butchers shop adjacent.

Layout of house, with three bathrooms, suited us so well, as did proximity to Co-op and harbour. Seahouses proved a good centre for visits ranging from Berwick to Farne Islands, Cragside and Kielder - and home via Beamish - so we would seek to book again another year.

A nice property in a good location but let down by standard of cleanliness, quality of bedding and basic utensils. Also outside space leaves a lot to be desired, especially as the weather was so good the week we were there. Generally though it was a spacious house with lots of potential. We enjoyed our time in Seahouses.

White Sails is a pleasant house within easy walking distance of the harbour. The rooms are all of a very good size and bright and sunny. Having the parking is great as there is no on street parking close by. Seahouses is a lovely little town, a good selection of shops and restaurants. A visit to the Farne Islands is a must!

Unfortunately, the house was dirty on our arrival and we felt we needed to sweep floors, hoover and clean surfaces - not the start we had hoped for. The floors under beds and behind sofas were filthy. The shower in the en suite is not fit for purpose. It would be much nicer to have newer towels rather than the ones provided - I would rather have brRead moreought my own if I had known. I would also recommend some thought be given to the microwave as it is damaged inside and needs replacing. Thanks. Hide

Lovely, clean and bright place to stay. Very close to shops, some great eating places and only a short walk to a great beach. Seahouses is lovely and has some really quirky shops. Very close to Bamburgh, Holy Island and the Farne Islands. Highly recommended.

Fabulous place to stay, not really a cottage though - more a mid terrace house. Nevertheless, the place is well equipped, comfortable and in a great location (just a few minutes walk from the beach). Our group of 2 couples and 2 dogs had plenty of room and never once did we feel under each others feet. The front room in particular is lovely, light Read moreand airy with very comfortable large sofas. The only downside is the incredibly narrow entrance to the rear of the property, not easy to get through! Hide

Firstly Seahouses is a great location for a holiday, convenient for so many places as well as Seahouses itself. Make sure you visit the Farne Islands which was the highlight. The cottage is lovely and fantastic that it has 3 bathrooms. We were two couples and two friends, the 6 of us never had to wait for the bathroom. The location is quite and a sRead morehort walk from town. The butchers is a few doors away does lovely breakfast baps. Our second stay and highly recommended. Hide
