Set on the golden 5-mile sweep of Camber Sands, this alluring cottage will have dogs and their families longing for holidays to begin. Just a bound from the beach, you’ll soon be building sandcastles, windsurfing, paddle boarding or just basking in bliss. A mile to the east, Broomhill Beach is brilliant for kitesurfing. There are some lovely dog-friendly pubs in Camber and Rye (4.5 miles). The latter is quaint with a rich smuggling and maritime history, art galleries, a castle museum, winding streets, quirky shops and breezy bistros.

The cottage’s interior is light, bright, airy and fresh, blending seaside charm with contemporary elegance and a bold and playful style. After satisfying days of sea, sand and sunshine, sink into the lounge’s sumptuous leather sofas by the wood burner and reminisce on amazing memories. Spill out into the conservatory and the secluded beach garden for BBQs, beer and sweet local seafood. There’s a king-size bedroom and a convenient bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs, the double bedroom has an en-suite shower room and the super king-size has a double sofa bed for an additional two guests. The icing on the cake is the garden’s wonderful hot tub and steps up to a gate giving access to the beach.

Sand lovers will find more mesmeric beaches at Cooden (24 miles), Normans Bay (27 miles), Eastbourne (33 miles) and Dungeness (9 miles). Dungeness is a unique wonderland for nature lovers, photographers and artists, with its old lighthouse, RSPB reserve, steam railway serving Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch, and vistas that will live long in your memory. Romney Marsh (10 miles) is a fabulous habitat, with fine local food and a vibrant history. Great Dixter house and gardens (13 miles) is a little piece of heaven in this paradise corner of England.

Westwick was perfect for our extended family. We all really enjoyed our week. The hot tub was a real bonus. Not been to Camber before, but there was lots to do in the area. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We loved the dining room area. All in all a very lovely week

The only thing I can add is that I wish there was a SIX STAR option for Westwick. My family stayed over the Christmas holiday 2023 we just wanted somewhere nice and comfortable to relax, rewind and gain our strength for the year ahead. Westwick ticked every box. The owners have thought of pretty much everything, and many other things that I wouldnRead more't have even considered. To top off it the tasteful Christmas decorations (not too much, but just enough) were a lovely finishing touch. Loved it. Hide

We had a wonderful stay at Westwick. So very close to the quieter end of the beach. Hot tub was a real treat. Everything you could want for a family holiday home and only a short drive to explore the local area such as Rye and Dungeness. We loved it

Needs some updating and more crockery. Only open rail and bedside cupboards downstairs bedroom. Good location for walks to rye and few steps to beach. But nothing in Camber apart from Pontins. Wouldn't like to be there in peak season
