The kitchen/diner and lounge are on the first floor, where you can relax after a day enjoying the dramatic rugged Pembrokeshire landscape while your favourite four-legged friends snooze at your feet. There’s an enclosed outdoor garden ideal for enjoying an al fresco meal, and the lawn area is shared with the other properties on the complex.

The unspoilt, secluded coves and bays of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park are just 3 miles away, and the coastal path takes you past the striking, rugged landscape of Pembrokeshire and its pretty villages, while Fido makes new friends along the way. The majestic Pembroke castle is just 2 miles away – dogs are welcome at this fascinating historical building that is the birthplace of the Tudor dynasty. Stackpole and its sandy beach, lily ponds and wooded valleys are a joy to explore – and make sure you take a peek at the nearby quirky St Govan’s chapel carved into the cliff’s edge too.

We had a great week at the cottage. The only thing we were not keen on was the stone steps to the entrance. Also as others have said you need a torch if you are coming back at night as it is pitch black. Other than that it's lovely nice and cosy and well equipped.

Really nice place to stay, lots of walks for the dogs. Also for Harry Potter fans Dobbies graves is just down the road, about 15 mins drive.

The oak is an end of a group of 4. It has everything you needed for your stay (just remember towels or you can hire them). Lovely cottage, beautiful view over the estuary, very quiet and peaceful. Lovely walking spot with the dogs and close to the pub too (15 minute walk). Within easy driving distance of Pembroke, choice of supermarkets, and lots of other places of interest. Would certainly recommend.

Cottage location is really good and lots to do in the area. Cottage a little small and dated and the upside down layout takes getting used to. That said we had a fabulous holiday, weather was perfect.

Beautiful scenery and well sited property. Well equipped in kitchen but not enough comfortable seating for 8 adults in lounge. Bathrooms lacked shelving for toiletries. Stable door entering property needs upgrading. As bedrooms were downstairs and windows on ground level, felt couldn't open at night for security reasons, maybe have some top openersRead more. Beautiful cottage, we stayed in oak! Love the upside down aspect! Stairs outside were quite steep and you have to be very careful! The view was incredible! Definitely need a car to explore the area!
