Impressive detached farmhouse conversion, nestling in the heart of Devon, offers families or groups a great holiday home, with a degree of seclusion, a private hot tub and fabulous countryside views.
It’s not every day you get to soak your limbs in a welcoming hot tub with a backdrop of far-reaching views over the Devon valleys, then settle down to a film in your very own cinema room. And the beauty of it is, your canine companions are welcome to join in all the fun. This luxury farmhouse conversion in a secluded spot is ideal for a large family or group of friends, with space for up to 12 plus two doggies. With excellent facilities and long, country walks leading right from the front door, it’s the perfect holiday home whether you’ve got two legs or four.
The house is spacious and excellently equipped, with underfloor heating and a wood burner to keep everyone toasty and warm – the dogs won’t be able to choose which warm spot to snooze in! Original features such as exposed beams and stonework add to the farmhouse feel. There’s a cosy lounge as well as a roomy dining area for group meals. Cook up tasty meals in the huge kitchen or head out to the garden area to sizzle up a feast on the BBQ. Here you’ll find a dining table and chairs, plus sun loungers to relax on. Your tufty-pawed pals will love chasing each other around the large lawn, though they’ll probably bug you for a burger or two once those lovely smells get going.
You won’t need to get in the car to take the dogs for energetic walks – there are a number of routes in the woodland and valleys nearby. Cadeleigh, a charming village, is under 2 miles from the house. Here, enjoy a pint in the dog-friendly pub as you admire views over the River Exe. In nearby Tiverton (7 miles), take your hounds for a stroll along the canal – there’ll be plenty of exciting scents for them to sniff out here.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
