A beautifully quirky cottage surrounded by moorland, lovingly decorated by the creative owners to blend traditional and retro design, making it perfect for a relaxing retreat with a loved one.

Located in acres of moorland, this secluded property which makes the ideal romantic getaway can be found at the end of an unmade track and accessed via a shared driveway. A haven for walkers and cyclists, the area is full of trails and wilderness to explore, and ideal for a relaxing base after a day out discovering your surroundings. A short drive will open a whole new side to Cornwall, with coastal towns and fishing villages to explore and some stunning beaches. The reverse-level style of this accommodation instantly sets the quirky tone of the property, with the bedroom on the ground floor. A king-size bed, original slate floor and low ceiling make the bedroom feel cosy and romantic, as a Moroccan door surround leads you through to the colourfully tiled en-suite shower room with WC. It is an eye-catching and unusual addition to the decor of the property, and certainly a memorable one! The quirky decoration continues as you follow a coloured strip on the floor upstairs to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner area. There is also a stable door that leads outside. There is a small dining table and a compact kitchen complete with everything you could need, including an electric double hotplate hob, small electric table top oven, and fridge with ice compartment.
Outside there is an enclosed garden with garden furniture and BBQ, and private off-road parking for one car.

Stunning location. A true escape from reality. Anybody with a low car needs to know that the approach to the cottage is a farm track.

Lovely peaceful location right on Bodmin Moor. Cottage is clean and comfortable with great walks right from the door and close to lovely beaches. It's worth noting that whilst listed as having an enclosed garden this is attached to the house next door and not dog proof. There are horses and sheep wandering around which is lovely but worth consideriRead moreng if you are bringing a dog as they will need to stay on a lead. Hide
