We had a lovely peaceful time for our first trip post lock down. The owners are very welcoming and friendly and the welcome pack of bread, eggs, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, shortbread and fresh flowers were really appreciated. The cottage is very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The bed was lovely and comfortable. Our dog loved all Read morethe walks we found from the property especially the field he could run free in. The wifi does not always work but that didn't really bother us. Hide

A peaceful location with beautiful grounds. The owner at the neighbouring property is very friendly and willing to help with any problems without being intrusive. We will certainly return in the future.

Great location (on the edge of the village, just off the A1 ) with parking on site. All rooms are of generous proportions with all equipment required. A great base to explore the many footpaths in the area.

Nice cottage in good spot for touring the surrounding area. Good walks for dogs from the cottage. We got a great nights sleep as the cottage is in a quiet, peaceful area. Lovely welcome pack from Cathy which was appreciated after our very rainy drive up to Yorkshire.

Very clean. The owners provided us with a food welcome pack, tea, coffee, sugar, eggs bread and milk and some shortbread which was very thoughtful and useful. However, one of the sofas was really uncomfortable, especially with us having back problems. There was ample hot water and the heating was constantly on which was splendid.
