This wonderful stylish luxurious property is located amid the most breath-taking scenery. Perfect for an active family holiday, romantic retreat or just to relax and admire the stunning surroundings.

Situated on the tranquil shores of Loch Katrine, this magnificent property is perfect for large groups seeking solitude without scrimping on luxury. Sleeping eight guests and two dogs, you could soon be exploring an array of scenic walks from your doorstep. Chilly evenings are made for lavish dinners that last well into the night, whilst balmy summer afternoons call for al fresco drinks and waterside views.

Elegant and impressive, the interiors of the property are traditionally styled and exquisitely furnished. Crack-open the wine for fireside chatter in the lounge, scratching behind your pet’s ears as he snoozes beside the dancing embers. Prepare a decadent feast in the kitchen/diner, gathering the pack to dine in style. A quick post-meal stroll outside may lead to muddy paws, but the utility area and shower room will help take care of any mess. A grand staircase leads to the first floor where you’ll discover three gorgeous bedrooms, each one dressed to perfection and soothingly styled for a peaceful night’s slumber. One of the king-size rooms boasts its own en-suite shower room, but there is also a generous family bathroom. Back downstairs; the final bedroom is perfect for accessibility. Enjoy your morning coffee with a view in the outside seating area, spotting the resident wildlife as you unwind.

Nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there’s plenty to surprise and delight guests of all ages, whether you have four legs or two. Hop onboard a steamship and take in the mesmerising landscape from the water, enjoying a leisurely cruise around the loch with your excitable hound. Soak up some local history as you discover what inspired famous poet Sir Walter Scott to pen the iconic Lady of the Lake, and unravel the tumultuous past of the notorious outlaw Rob Roy.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Scotland is famed for its history, breathtaking scenery and outdoor activities and the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park has all of these in abundance. Munro-baggers will be pleased to know there are 12 within the national park. A little smaller, but no less spectacular is Ben A’an, which would suit less able walkers and provides amazing views of The Trossachs. If you have little monkeys within your party, head to Go Ape! at Queen Elizabeth Forest Park (15 miles) for a tree-top adventure. For something a little more reserved, catch a steamer from Stronachlachar Pier which is a few hundred metres from the property, to Trossachs Pier. You could even incorporate your boat ride into a walk or cycle. Wherever you go, always take your binoculars as there is plenty of wildlife in this part of Scotland, such as golden eagles and red squirrels.

The cottage was beautiful, very well presented even without soft furnishings due to.covid , so comfortable I felt at home , gorgeous views from upper windows great size rooms spacious with 6 of us there , only downside is no garden for grandkids to play safely, but would return in a heartbeat , we wanted to stay longer
