Perfectly situated just a short stroll from the pretty harbour of Combe Martin, this traditional cottage provides great accommodation for a dog-loving family, with ample space for five human guests and three dogs. The cottage is one of a pair of properties which can be booked together and is perfect if you’re looking for somewhere which is both close to the coast and the countryside. Set just within the beautiful Exmoor National Park, the cottage is great for visiting popular seaside towns including Ilfracombe, just a 5-mile drive away.

The cottage is also fantastic for enjoying the breathtaking views from the South West Coastal Path. Boasting original features including exposed beams, stonework and a feature fireplace, this charming cottage has everything you may need for a relaxing holiday. There’s a cosy lounge where you can unwind and watch a movie, and a stylish kitchen/diner ideal for enjoying a fantastic meal. There are three comfortable bedrooms upstairs. Outside the cottage you can enjoy an evening drink in the seating area in the fully lawn garden which is perfect for dogs to run about in while you relax.

Just a short walk from the cottage is a fantastic dog-friendly pub. There are plenty of places for dogs and their owners to explore, with a huge selection of pretty coastal towns and villages nearby, including Ilfracombe, Woolacombe (11 miles) and Croyde (14 miles), along with numerous dog-friendly pubs and cafes to enjoy. Combe Martin boasts a lovely beach which is open to dogs between October and April. There are plenty of wonderful walks suitable for dogs along the bracing North Devon coast, including Baggy Point (15.5 miles) and the Valley of the Rocks (14 miles). You can even take dogs on the famous Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway (13 miles).

The cottage is really lovely, clean and welcoming with lots of little extras such as milk, biscuits and a cake provided. We stayed when it was very wet and windy and access through the garage was great. Beds were comfy. Note that dogs are not allowed upstairs - this was fine for us as our dog isnt at home.

Great stay again , this is our third visit to the cottage it ticks all the boxes and most importantly my wife loves it (happy Wife happy life) great secure garden for the dogs very warm and cosy everything at hand lovely pub a stones throw Pack o cards (made very welcome with our dogs) easy reach of great beaches and walks, I cant recommend this coRead morettage enough its the best we have stayed in since we have taken our Dogs on their holidays in the last 8 years around the south and west coasts. A lovely cottage with a very dog friendly back garden. Parking to the back of the property was brilliant - but down a tight lane and you have to be super careful of the potholes. Great cottage - plenty of space for 5 adults/teenaged children and 3 dogs, well equipped and comfortable beds. Enclosed garden with access to the 2 garages kept our dogs safe. Bubbling brook at the front of the house was very relaxing. Pack O Cards does a great Sunday roast.

We had a great week at Water Terrace. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed with a nice little welcome pack of wine, cake and milk. The fully enclosed garden is good for dogs and the patio was a real sun trap in the afternoon. It is about a 20 minute walk to the sea where there is a good dog friendly beach. Really lovely accommodation with friendly management and perfectly situated within the village for our needs so we rarely needed use of the car and did not want for anything during our stay. They had lovely little extra added touches. We have stayed here before and will definitely be staying again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay in this delightful property. The downstairs area has a charing spacious feel to it, and the property is a perfect place to stay for a family. Combe Martin is a nice quiet town and makes for an ideal base for visiting areas in and around North Devon and Exmoor. Highly recommend.

I had a great week away at the cottage which exceeded my expectations. It was so clean and tidy, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. It was lovely to have somewhere warm to come home to after a day out exploring Exmoor.

We had a really good relaxing weekend at 3Water Terrace. No skimping on the heating, it was lovely and warm when we arrived at the 5 pm check in time. Our 2 dogs were safe in the enclosed garden and we enjoyed lots of walks along the public footpaths. There was one shop open on the sea front that was useful for essentials . We enjoyed fish and chipRead mores from one of the local FAC shops and went to the Pack O Cards on Sunday for a carvery who also allowed our dogs in. Parking for 2 cars was useful . Hide

Fantastic cosy cottage with a great secure garden for the dogs. The car port to be able to load and unload in the dry was fantastic and is a great location to get to beaches, wander on Exmoor and generally explore north Devon.

We have just returned from Water Lane having previously stayed at Water Terrace . We were a party of 3 adults + 2 dogs and had another very enjoyable holiday. Lovely quiet, comfortable cottage in walking distance to the beach. The property is very close to some lovely beaches eg Woolacombe which is great for dogs. Lovely quiet coves nearby. The Pack of Cards pub is 5 minute walk away and served lovely food. There are also 2 fish and chip shops in walking distance.

The property was lovely and clean, really well equipped with a good enclosed garden. The only downside is the property is very dark due to the nearby trees. Combe Martin has very little in it but it was handy for getting to Woolacombe which is a great beach for kids and dogs.

I cant find fault with this cottage. Reviews I had read shared concerns over the lane entrance to the cottage. I drive a car and had no problem what so ever with the potholes. The lane is narrow but has a clear view ahead and places for any meeting/ passing of oncoming cars. The garden is well kept and securely enclosed for your dogs. The cottage iRead moretself is spotlessly clean and has everything you could need. The kitchen is very well equipped. Comfy beds. A great place. Quiet and peaceful. Hide

The cottage itself was perfectly located for exploring North Devon, it was the perfect base.
