Ideally situated in a tranquil village just a mile from the beautiful Norfolk coast, this cosy and welcoming cottage makes a fantastic base for a family wanting to explore this picturesque region.

This charming property, located in the peaceful village of Kelling just 1.5 miles from Weybourne Beach, is ideal for a little family – including the waggy-tailed members! Sleeping four across two welcoming bedrooms and with plenty of space for up to two dogs, you could all soon be exploring the beautiful Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Pretty Wells-Next-the-Sea (13 miles) welcomes pups all year round and has plenty of quaint cafes and restaurants where your canine companions can join you.

The cottage, which features a delightful entrance hall that’s perfect for storing coats and boots, is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen/diner has a contemporary farmhouse feel to it thanks to soft, pastel colours, while the comfy sofa and chairs in the lounge beckon you to sink back in front of the fire to warm up chilly paws after a bracing walk along the coast. Upstairs, the bedrooms are bright and airy making them tranquil places to wake up in after a peaceful sleep; head down to the south-facing garden and enjoy your morning coffee on the patio. Sizzle up a BBQ out here in the summer while the kids and dogs play on the lawn.

Beaches at both Sheringham (4.5 miles) and Cromer (8.5 miles) have parts available all year for furry friends to stretch their legs while the kids grab some ice cream from the many parlours there. If you’d prefer to stroll inland, Holt Country Park (5 miles) will go down a storm with kids and pups thanks to long footpaths and play areas, while pretty grounds at Blickling (14 miles) and Felbrigg (9.5 miles) will bring some peace to your trip. Historic city Norwich (27 miles) has plenty of dog-friendly cafes and pubs to offer along with two beautiful cathedrals.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Stayed over Christmas 2020 so strange times. Not very Chrsitmassy as no decorations up but a lovely welcome pack of food. Cottage is in a lovely place - it's roomy and fab for dogs. Problems with heating - plumber couldn't fix. Wood fire but no wood or implements to set up/clean so had to ask for a heater. Kitchen is huge but if you like cooking poRead moreorly set up - great cooker but no non-stick pans or microwave containers. Bring your own cleaning products and utensils Hide

Very well-placed for visiting the coast and the nearness of the Reading Room cafe is a big plus.

Warborough West cottage was delightful; full of charm and character the cottage is comfortable and well furnished with a lovely (dog safe) garden to enjoy when the sun shines. The cottage location is perfect to enjoy the North Norfolk Coast with a lot of good walks right from the front door. Would highly recommend!

A super holiday cottage in a fabulous location. I would certainly recommend this property. It has a large lounge, 2 good sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a toilet downstairs. Ample parking and outside seating area. What more do you need?
