This cottage is perfectly located to enjoy the stunning sandy beaches and big skies of the Norfolk coastline. Housing six guests, your hound is just as welcome so make sure they aren’t left behind! Whether as a romantic coastal retreat for two, or a luxury bolthole for family or friends, get ready to fall in love with this warm, welcoming, contemporary cottage.

Kick off your shoes, hang your coats and dry muddy paws in the entrance hall before trotting through to the bright and spacious family kitchen for perhaps a treat or two. Blending contemporary and traditional styling, sophisticated interiors add a touch of modernity. In the warm weather, open the double doors to the garden so your canine chum can potter in and out as you cook a delicious meal. Retire to the lounge to relax on the sofas of an evening, lighting the wood burner so your happy hound can sprawl in the warmth. Added delights are the roll-top bath in the family bathroom, perfect for a long soak after a day’s exploring, while the underfloor heating keeps toes and paws toasty during the cooler months. The fully-enclosed garden is perfect for a roll in the grass, so your furry friend can sniff about as you sip a coffee to welcome in the morning.

In a central location in the village of Snettisham, there are shops and pubs within walking distance. Explore the parkland for hours of walks at Sandringham Estate (5 miles) and discover the diverse landscape at Holme Dunes (9 miles) - just keep your doggy on lead. Wander the trails at Ringstead Downs (4.5 miles), while off-lead walks at Barrow Common (11 miles) have fantastic views of the marshes and sea. The vast sands at Old Hunstanton (5.5 miles) will delight your tufty-pawed chum, and further afield at Holkham Beach too (17 miles).

Lovely well equipped comfortable cottage. Ideally situated for local amenities. Garden is small put perfectly adequate. Parking is a little challenging but ok once you get the hang of it. The builders merchant across the road can be a little noisy early morning but didn't bother us. We found the beds very comfortable. The stair gate was useful. Wonderful cottage in a perfect location in a lovely village. 2 excellent pubs nearby and lots to do around the local area. Comfortable living room, spacious dining room and kitchen with all the equipment you need to prepare meals. Garden smaller than pictures suggest but more than enough for our 2 children and dog. Comfy beds and bonus en-suite batRead morehroom in the master. Only negative was the house was obviously well insulated as it was quite warm but cant be helped. Would stay again! Hide

This is a lovely cottage in a lovely setting with a suntrap garden. The garden table and parasol was fab. Spotless on arrival with a thoughtful welcome gift on the kitchen table. The fridge freezer was a good size compared to other rentals. The beds were very comfortable with lovely white linen and thick towels provided. An airy living space and a Read morepleasure to be in. The co-op around the corner was a handy bonus and the 2 pubs were great although quite different. I recommend this cottage for sure Hide

A lovely week spent at walnut cottage, gorgeous village location, quiet with countryside charm! The cottage itself was clean, comfortable and homely but with a chic country vibe. This was our fourth visit. We love coming here and hope to do so again. Snettisham is a delightful small village with a Coop, pharmacy and pubs. Plenty of attractions within one hours drive, leaving aside the frequent local buses to Hunstanton, Lynn and beyond. Thoroughly recommended.

This cottage is one of the best we've stayed in. Clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and perfect location to explore the north Norfolk coastal villages & countryside. Also a shop, cafe and 2 pubs on your doorstep. The only reason we havent given it 5 stars is the garden was in some serious need of TLC. The cottage is in a lovely situation,with ample parking,essential as there is quite a bit of traffic associated with the builders merchant. I wouldn't have wanted to park my car on the road. The village itself was pleasant with a couple of great eating places within easy walking distance. Having the small supermarket was also very handy. Loved our stay. Been to Snettisham before over 10 years ago, so we already knew the area. Upon entering the property we found it clean and comfortable. As a party of 4 adults there was ample space and it had the added bonus of two bathrooms. Had a couple of meals at the Queen Vic, tasty and very reasonably priced, with pie night and steak night. ThRead moree Rose and Crown served a really good pint of Guiness. Visited Sandringham, Ken Hill, the nature reserve and beach at Snettisham. Very quiet beach. Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent week in the cottage. It is beautifully presented, furnished, comfortable, cosy and warm, with modern touches. It is very well situated for beaches, walks and many places of interest and also in the lovely village, being within walking distance of a couple of pubs, the Co-Op and bakery. We would love to return.

Absolutely stunning cottage in delightful village..very comfy beds and sofas..we had great weather so spent our days at Snettisham Beach/Old Huntstanton/Sandringham and in the small but very pleasant garden.. Rose & Crown a must visit..not the cheapest but lovely food and very very dog friendly..large beer garden..Also the Orange Tree in Thornham( Read morewe only had drinks) in large garden at front of pub. Our 2nd visit to Norfolk..we stayed in Heacham first time but much prefer Snettisham Hide

This is a lovely holiday cottage. It was spotlessly clean and felt comfortable right from the start. By the Tuesday we had booked again for next year. The cottage was clean and welcome goods were very thoughtful. The kitchen was well equipped, it was a bonus as we cooked meals. Would definitely go back as it was central for the places we wanted to visit.
