We loved this cosy cottage, we used the side door due to dogs/kids and front being close to the road. Parked the car up on the green which is a lovely walk back up each day, everyone in the village is so friendly. There is a lovely village green with pub, butchers, tea shop and village shop all sat around it. Cauldron Falls on doorstep for paddlingRead more or wild swimming if your brave. Richmond is lovely with castle and waterfalls, Malham Cove def worth the drive. Great holiday! Hide

This is not only a beautiful little cottage but it's set in a stunning area. The local Fox and Hounds is great, especially the take away options, the butcher's sells some fantastic food. The walks are amazing. The one and only draw back is the parking, very narrow lane and a surprising about of large vehicles pass during the day. Lovely cosy cottage, well equipped kitchen area. Small enclosed sitting area at rear of property, but no direct access to it from cottage, have to come out of side door onto shared drive to access the sitting area. Lovely cottage in beautiful, friendly village. Equipped with everything we needed. Seeing a sheep staring at me through the bathroom window made my week. This is a well equipped cottage, very nicely turned out. We had everything we needed, and we do love West Burton and the waterfall. The pub is only a short distance away, also the shop, and all the local people we met were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely use this property again.

A really lovely, comfortable, but stylish and well appointed cottage. We only used the main bedroom, but the bed was very comfortable. Absolutely great location with lots of walking direct from the door. Whilst there is a small enclosed patio area to the rear, this can only be accessed by a shared driveway which has open access to a busy road, so we were unable to leave the back door open for our dog to wander in and out.
