The beautiful stone barn is situated amongst a handful of similar properties with its own private driveway. The cottage has bags of character, with original exposed beams and limestone flooring. The open-plan lounge/diner is the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day, with its roaring wood burner for the hounds to doze in front of and a Smart TV/DVD for you to watch your favourite programmes. The stylish kitchen has everything you need to rustle up a dinner for two. It’s also a great place for the dog beds, thanks to the cosy underfloor heating. Outside, discover a cute, enclosed garden, where the pups can play and you can enjoy a morning coffee on the patio.
Hartland Abbey and Gardens (3 miles) is a great place for a day out with the doggies. Although not permitted inside the house, four-legged guests are welcome to explore the beautiful walled and woodland gardens, as well as the sweeping parkland that envelops the property. There’s a charming courtyard cafe for refreshments and you can also take a stroll through the valley to the wild and rugged Atlantic coast. Pack your beach towel and head to Bude for traditional seaside fun. Build sandcastles on the woof-friendly beach, before taking a dip in the tidal sea pool.
