Romantic breaks are great, but they are even better when your beloved hound can come along too. This bijou apartment is top dog for exploring historic Cambridgeshire, and with shared access to an on-site outdoor swimming pool, small gym and a pizza oven, you are guaranteed a relaxing stay. Nestled in an idyllic village setting just 10 miles from Cambridge, you’ll soon be sniffing out scenic walks and exciting places to visit such as museums, historic houses and of course, the iconic waterways.

Cosy and charming with cheerful decor and plenty of home comforts, you and your waggy-tailed pal can swap the hustle and bustle of modern life for tranquil evenings curled up watching TV and delving into your favourite snacks. Your open-plan living space has comfy furniture, a handy dining table and storage space, and the kitchen area is well-equipped for whipping up a feast at mealtimes. After a busy day, the bedroom is a haven for weary paws, best enjoyed after an invigorating shower in the shower room. You’ll have your own private seating area immediately outside, but the shared grounds are perfect for stretching Fido’s legs.

Charter a boat and punt along the River, or let someone else do the hard work whilst you tuck into afternoon tea with Rover by your side. The narrow streets are home to delightful independent shops, and there’s oodles of choice when it comes to eateries. A short 4-mile drive will bring you to the National Trust’s Wimpole Estate with its scenic routes through parkland, woodland and pastures. Furry visitors on leads are welcome to explore the majority of the grounds excluding the hall, gardens, farm and restaurant, but they are sure to enjoy a few treats and a snooze on the cafe terrace too.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
