The cottage was in an excellent location at the top of Wells, very close to the cathedral and excellent walks for our 2 dogs. Second time at this property, and we'd love to return. First of all, its proximity to the cathedral makes it an ideal location for us. It has an unusual layout, but that's not a criticism. Very comfortable, very well equipped. Comfortable bed. Loved the little ensuite in the bedroom. Good TV set. The main (and really only) drawback is the lack of pRead morearking. We did occasionally get lucky, but that's not guaranteed. Carpark across the road is extortionate! Hide

Great location. Less than 5 minutes walk to the cathedral and bustling city centre, but also less than 5 minutes to beautiful countryside and a network of footpaths. Well appointed, clean and comfortable cottage, within easily walkable access to Wells sights and amenities. We very much enjoyed our stay at Vespers, which was well equipped and charmingly decorated and very spacious for a property its size. Its location, so close to the Cathedral, couldn't have been better. As others have said, the parking situation leaves something to be desired - so it's best to be prepared with a Plan B.
