A generous dining table sits in the window just beyond the kitchen and when you want to relax with a good book and Fido at your feet, there are two large sofas in the other section of the room, beautifully showered in natural light from the French doors and double aspect windows. The bedroom area, in a cosy alcove behind the lounge area, has a pull-down double bed and offers guests stunning rural views. The spacious bathroom has a bath and sizable separate shower cubicle, tiled floor and exposed beams. The private patio area is the perfect place to enjoy a BBQ as the sun sets, and is bordered by a low stone wall making the most of the spectacular view beyond.

The owners are friendly and very welcoming. The property is excellent for walks and short drives to scenic places. My husband and I stayed for three nights and were sad to leave. The local pub just a few yards down the road served homemade delicious food. The property is a little gem, well equipped and peaceful. We will certainly book again.
