At one end is a peaceful area with a selection of books and seating and at the other, there is a large, comfy leather sofa in front of the TV and DVD. With splashes of colour and warm wooden floors, this makes for a very welcoming space. The bright and cheerful dining area next to the well-equipped kitchen is a great place to sit and plan your family day out over breakfast and the charming, enclosed patio area is ideal for letting the dogs out first thing in the morning before heading out for a day’s exploration.
Take a walk through the delightful village of St Dogmaels with its colourfully painted houses and then head to down to the estuary of the River Teifi, where you can enjoy waggy-tailed walks along the river and take the opportunity to spot numerous sea birds. Poppit beach, just 2 miles from the cottage, has a lovely stretch of golden sand, which both children and four-legged friends alike will love. The ancient market town of Cardigan is just a mile away on the other side of the river; visit Cardigan Castle or just take in the sea air on a walk along the stunning Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
