  • Escape it all in this delightful and surprisingly spacious character cottage  just a short drive to some of North Cornwall's most dramatic coastline and moorland
  • Relax in front of the warming wood burner after a day  exploring or sit in the private, enclosed garden soaking up the last of the sun or stargazing next to the firepit
  •  The perfect bolthole, tucked away and yet just minutes drive to the main routes to discover the beautiful expansive North Cornwall  beaches and picturesque fishing villages
Property code: OC-65682

Wonderfully situated for those with a passion for the great outdoors, adventurers with both two and four legs can settle right into the Cornish way of living at this bolthole. Rise and shine and step outside to discover tremendous views from the winding South West Coast Path and the plethora of beaches studding the local coastline. Work up a hearty appetite before heading home to devour tasty treats in style, perhaps even al fresco if the weather allows.

Open-plan living on the ground floor is perfect for keeping an eye on cheeky canine companions, that’s if the wood burner hasn’t got them sprawling out and lapping up the roaring heat! Rustle up meals in the compact yet contemporary kitchen and dine together at the table. After dinner, open the French doors to the patio and enjoy a cold tipple or a warming brew before snuggling up on the inviting L-shaped sofa. A handy utility room is a great place for towelling down soggy fur and muddy paws on your return home each day. As eyes get heavy, climb the winding cottage-style staircase and lie down for a doze in the charming double room. A quick freshen-up in the neighbouring bathroom and you will be ready for the day ahead. Both upstairs rooms have sloping ceilings due to the age of the property.

The stunning craggy landscape and legendary castle remains at Tintagel are just 6.5 miles from your door. Pack up a picnic and a few yummy treats and head to this beautiful spot for a day of exploring. For the foodies, Padstow is famed for its delicious seafood and is 17 miles from home.

Good: quiet and serene, the outdoor space for a morning coffee among the birds and bees was wonderful. The home has everything you need, plus a great parking space rather than having to park on a roadside. Booking experience through Hoiiday Cottages was excellent. Unfortunates: the dog poo bin had not been emptied, was quite full and it was very hoRead moret while we were there; the bbq grill needs a good scrub; the carbon monoxide detector was going off without the right batteries to fix it; the photos are wide angle so home not quite as expected; be very careful in the bathroom if you are tall. We spent 5 nights in the cottage. It was so peaceful and relaxing, we could really switch off and unwind. It was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The garden was nice and secure for our little dog too, there was even some dog treats for him which was lovely.

Tye-Ki was a gorgeous home away from home. It was comfortable, relaxing and welcoming. Me, my partner and our dog didnt want to leave, we wish we ours could have stayed for longer. The cottage was in a lovely remote area, the only downside was no dog walking routes nearby and had to drive but that wasnt an issue for us as we wanted to get out everyRead moreday anyway. Absolutely gorgeous property and would definitely stay again. Response from Holiday Cottages - There are wonderful countryside walks from the doorstep - we are sorry that you did not find these Hide

We enjoyed our stay very much and would like to revisit as its well located, comfortable and clean. My only concern is that when visiting in colder months the electric heating radiators are either on or off and pre-set max is 19 degrees (not 23 as stated in the handbook) which is too cold in my option. We did use the log burner every evening so notRead more an issue this visit but if we were unable to light the fire for any reason it would have been too cold. Book in summer and youll love it Hide

Lovely little property but in my opinion it's in need of a little TLC in a couple of places and a new mattress. Not for anyone who doesn't like to bath as shower is awkward and lacks power.
