Traditional townhouse in the heart of Pembroke offering family=friendly holiday accommodation with a games room and enclosed garden.

Have a superb stay at this cottage right at the heart of Pembroke and bring your favourite furry friend with you. Sleeping five guests, the two-bedroom hideaway has a games room where younger members of your party can play pool, and an enclosed, courtyard garden where Rover can enjoy the fresh air.

Enter via the hall, where you can hang dog leads, and make your way into the lounge to settle on the sofa in front of the TV while your happy hound dozes nearby. Usher him into the cheerful kitchen/diner when it’s time to serve his dinner and start preparing yours. There is also a WC at this level. Make your way down to the lower ground floor to find the games room and a snug, or pop Rover’s dog blankets into the washing machine in the utility room. The family bathroom, and a bedroom with a king-size bed and a single, are on the first floor of the cottage while another double bedroom, with an extra single trundle bed, is on the second floor. Let Rover out into the garden from either the ground floor or the lower ground floor. Fire up the BBQ here on warm evenings and keep him company over a bottle of wine.

Visit Pembroke Castle and take your happy hound with you. There are plenty of water bowls within the grounds for him to drink at as he passes. Find scenic footpaths to follow in the West Wales countryside around the town and head to the beach at Swanlake, 5 miles away, where he can bound in and out of the waves at any time of year.

Ty Clyd is a gorgeous property, it has so much character and space. It has everything we needed and more, so well thought out. The coffee maker and air fryer made us feel at home! The location is perfect with shops and beautiful walks on your doorstep. The host was fantastic with great communication and making sure we had everything we needed. Our family really enjoyed our stay at Ty Clyd. 4 adults and 4 dogs. This property is like the TARDIS, from the outside it looks like a modestly sized house but in the inside there is so much room. 4 floors in total, so we never felt like we were on top of eachother. The house is fully equipped with everything you might need on your stay. We had a most amazing time as a family together for a few days over Christmas, such a beautifully appointed home with enough space to chill and not be on top of each other but then also cool features such as the games room to bring you all together to laugh and enjoy when the weather is not inviting to go out and walk. We will be back

A lovely comfortable, well equipped cottage, with everything you need for a great holiday. The games room is an added bonus, and the sheltered garden is a proper sun trap. The location and just across the road is a walkway down to the millpond.

This beautiful listed house is in a perfect location for all the amenities, attractions and amazing scenery in the South of Wales, Spacious and well equipped with everything you may need and lovely original features. We had a lovely stay here. The accommodation was everything you needed and the little touches they added were lovely. The games room was amazing, a nice little touch where we had lots of fun. Plenty of space in the house and close to the shops which had everything you need for your stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Ty Clyd. Such a beautiful and welcoming house, with everything you could need, plus restaurants, takeaways, lovely little shops and Pembroke Castle on the door step. The pool table and games machine were a god send on a day spent in due to non stop rain. I can't recommend it enough.

Lovely week spent in Ty Clyd with my husband and two grandchildren aged 12 and 10. The house exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend staying here. The owners were both friendly and helpful, responding quickly to an electrical problem we had the morning after our arrival. The house is very well kept and facilities were exceptional. EverythRead moreing was of a very good standard. The only exception being the electric cooker which was adequate but dated & had just 1 shelf in the oven. Hide

Ty Clyd completely exceeded our expectations, we thought the pictures shown on the web site would not be true to life but in fact the reality was much better. The holiday home looks quite plain from the outside, but once inside you will find a lovely decorated, comfortable, well equipped home from home with a fabulous out door area at the back, whiRead morech is a complete sun trap. Such a beautiful cottage, we had 5 days here and it was lovely, very clean and tidy, very very spacious, lovely owner always there if you need anything, lovely welcome pack which was all very much appreciated, great bonus having a pool table and the new addition of the arcade machine. We had a wonderful 4 day break at Ty Clyd over October half-term. Our 11 year old twin boys loved the pool table and snug in the basement and we all enjoyed using that space. Everything is catered for at Ty Clyd, you really couldn't want for anything. Great property, well appointed. Good base to explore Pembrokeshire. Pool table was a win for a fussy teen. Great host, very responsive to any queries. Note you are on the main road so expect to hear vehicles and pedestrians - it didn't interfere with our stay just for reference. NB Dogs not allowed on furniture/beds.

We had a fantastic time last week in Pembroke. Ty Clyd was like a tardis once you go through the front door! It was the perfect base for our days out exploring the beautiful Welsh coastline and countryside. We have returned from a lovely long weekend at Ty Clyd -Pembroke. The owner was a lovely host, she meet us at the property, showed us around. The property was very well presented, like the Tardis loads of space inside with the added bonus of a pool room. Had a fantastic 3 weeks here so.... booked another week! Excellent location right in the heart of the Medieval town. Everything within walking distance, with a short drive to the beach.
