Charming cottage with garden and lovely views in a peaceful village of Snowdonia National Park. Close to Betws-y-Coed, perfect to relax and explore the best of North Wales countryside and culture.
This beautiful period property sleeps four guests and one four-legged pal. Set in the picturesque village of Ysbyty Ifan, with its plethora of intriguing walking trails and cycle tracks, you’ll be inspired to get outdoors and explore with your trusty furry companion by your side. If you and the pooch fancy a walking challenge, Snowdon – Wales’ highest mountain – is just 24 miles away.
The cosy cottage is packed with thoughtful little extras to make your stay as comfortable as possible. In the inviting lounge, you’ll find gorgeous exposed beams and a fabulous feature fireplace. Snuggle up here after a long walk, with the dog curled up in front of the roaring wood burner. The property has bags of character, and the stunning hand-crafted kitchen/diner is the perfect setting for a relaxed breakfast before the fun of the day begins. Outside and up a few steps, is an enclosed lawned garden where the woofer can stretch their legs. On a warm evening, fire up the BBQ and enjoy the peace and far-reaching countryside views.
The pretty village of Betws-y-Coed is just 8 miles away. It’s the perfect place for a lazy afternoon pottering around the gift shops and independent boutiques, before taking a stroll along the riverside boardwalk or grabbing some fish and chips to eat on the riverbank whilst the dog has a paddle. If you’re planning to tackle Snowdon, one of the ‘Three Peaks’, the Llanberis path is most suited to dogs (providing they’re fit, healthy and used to the terrain). It’s a steady ascent with some truly outstanding views. Just bear in mind that dogs aren’t allowed in the cafe at the summit, so it’s worth packing a picnic and some treats for the hound – they will have earned them!
