The gorgeous property, in the heart of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, sleeps eight guests and three canine chums, making it ideal for large family gatherings and holidays with friends. Take the pups for a stroll along the River Nidd, which runs through town, or visit one of the many paw-friendly attractions in the area, including the magical Brimham Rocks (4.5 miles).
The chic stone-built house is decorated in a contemporary style, with quirky touches to add character. The spacious living area incorporates a modern kitchen, dining area and somewhere to sit and relax, making it the perfect place for socialising. Hard floors make dealing with muddy pawprints easy and there’s also room for dog beds, as well as access to the enclosed garden. Alternatively, they may like to slink away to the cosy snug, where they can snuggle in front of the roaring wood burner. There are four bedrooms: one ground floor double and two first floor king-size and one first floor double room. Outside, a lawn envelops the property, providing plenty of space for the hounds to play. There’s also a decked area for al fresco dining.
Pateley Bridge is full of quintessential English charm. Potter around the pretty town centre and grab yourself a sweet treat from the oldest sweet shop in England! Your furry friends will be in their element at Brimham Rocks, with plenty of little nooks and crannies to sniff and explore. The giant rock formations were created 100 million years ago and are truly remarkable. It’s easy to spend several hours admiring their beauty and wandering around the heather moorland. The ruins of Fountains Abbey (9.5 miles) are also well worth a visit. You and the pups can explore the World Heritage Site as well as the gorgeous water gardens.
