Recharge the batteries with a romantic break for two or a small family getaway in this delightful barn conversion. Located just north of the Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, walks are in abundance and literally on your doorstep, so your four-legged friend will be in heaven! Whether sailing on the nearby lakes, discovering villages dotted amongst the countryside or exploring the woodland trails, at the end of the day you will return to your holiday cottage to relax in comfort and style.

Situated in the heart of the owner’s working farm in the delightful village of Stanton Drew, shed your coats and towel dry mucky paws before pottering in to the bright and airy open-plan living space. Enjoy the far-reaching views with a cup of tea as your pup dozes on his favourite blanket, dreaming of tomorrows antics. Take an evening stroll across the fields to the pub with your pup and return to sip an evening drink on the courtyard patio whilst soaking up the views. Start the morning with an al fresco coffee for you, and a scamper for your happy hound, ready to take on the day’s adventures.

Perfectly located to enjoy the area's must-see locations, you can visit the historic spa city of Bath (12.5 miles), the metropolitan city of Bristol (9 miles), the picturesque scenery of Cheddar Gorge (13 miles) and Wells (16 miles), the smallest cathedral city in England. Walk around the local lakes of Blagdon (9 miles) or Chew Valley (3.5 miles) with its wildflower meadows and wonderful views towards the Mendip Hills. Further afield, head to Vallis Vale (17 miles) for a beautiful walk through woodland next to the Mells river or chase the waves at Burnham-on-Sea (25.5 miles), a delight with its golden sandy beach.
