Here you can relax at the end of a fantastic day, catch a movie, enjoy a family meal, chat about the day’s adventures and plan the next day’s events. You will also find two cosy bedrooms. You can unwind outside on the wooden veranda which offers great views across farmland and towards Bodmin Moor. The decked area has an outdoor dining table allowing you to enjoy a coffee in the early morning sun, or an al fresco meal in the evening. There’s also a play area for children, which is shared with the other lodge on-site, and there are also shared lawns. You can also explore the local surroundings, with plenty of country walks and a fishing lake.
There are plenty of great walks to enjoy on Bodmin Moor. The famous dog-friendly pub Jamaica Inn (7 miles) lies at the heart of the moor, or you could head to Brown Willy (11 miles), Cornwall’s highest point. Heading over towards the coast you could visit numerous dog-welcoming beaches including Crackington Haven - between October and Easter (12 miles), Tintagel (13 miles) and Bossiney Cove (13 miles). Dogs are welcome throughout the area and you can enjoy such bustling towns as Okehampton (26 miles) and Tavistock (21.5 miles).
