Superbly renovated and steeped in its historic past, this stunning barn is nestled in the countryside yet near to the coast, making it a perfect escape for families and friends.
A wonderful home for four pups and ten owners, this gorgeous barn is perfectly located for seaside walks. After salty beach adventures, rinse sandy fur in the handy dog bath before enjoying al fresco meals in the enclosed garden or getting cosy by the wood burner. The St Agnes Heritage Coast is just 2 miles away so you can enjoy all this beautiful slice of Cornwall has to offer without straying far.
Head up steps or the slope and through the stable door to make your way inside this gorgeous, converted barn. Retaining handfuls of character and charm, the contemporary interior beautifully complements the exposed beams and rustic features which flow throughout. Spend time in the kitchen/diner where treats can be rustled up and you can play songs on the Sonos sound system as you chop. If your pup isn’t chasing their tail around you, you will probably find them curled up in the lounge, taking prime position in front of the wood burner. Join them and stay cosy or throw open the bi-fold doors from the games room and let the fresh air inside. Summer calls for BBQ feasts in the enclosed garden with its pretty courtyard and handy dog/wetsuit bath. Head to bed in the first-floor wing of the house and if you’re sleeping in the master room, enjoy a coffee by the Juliet balcony. There is off-road parking for four cars.
Treat your pup to the best of both worlds with a woodland walk to the beach. Stick chase on the way and get sandy at your destination in Porthtowan (2 miles) where you can swim in the sea or help little ones build sandcastles if you fancy staying dry. The dog-friendly beach at Trevaunance Cove (2.5 miles) is perfect for visiting during summer and you can take a walk and explore the South West Coast Path.
