Overlooking Mevagissey, this barn conversion, one of three properties in this quiet elevated location, is only a 10-minute walk from the village’s pubs, shops and historic harbour. Guests can head out on foot and follow the many circular walks nearby, which offer spectacular coastal views and lead to sandy coves, beaches and the fishing village of Charleston. Countless popular Cornish attractions are within easy reach of the property, which include The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Restormel Castle.

Arranged on three levels, this converted barn offers space and plenty of character with exposed beams throughout. On entering the spacious first floor kitchen/diner you will find an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave, as well as enough dining space for six. Once you have finished your meals, head to the second floor to unwind in the lounge, which features a coal-effect electric fire, TV, Freeview, DVD and selection of books, games and CDs. There are three light and airy bedrooms in this property. On the ground floor you will find one double and one twin bedroom, while an additional twin with en-suite shower and WC is located on the second floor. The ground floor bedrooms are served by a family bathroom, which has a shower over bath and WC.

Outside, there is a private enclosed patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ, ideal for spending long afternoons in the sunshine when you’re not exploring the local area. A utility room is also available shared with the other properties on the complex, containing a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer. Ample parking is available.

Excellent just what we needed a peaceful lodge within easy access to other places of interest Very well equipped and welcoming flowers and cream tea on arrival Clean and comfortable plus welcoming owner checking we had arrived ok and had all we needed

Had a wonderful time, Mevagissey was lovely and friendly. Could not believe how many places lets dogs in, including restaurants and bakers! The accommodation was lovely and clean and adequately equipped for self catering. Would defiantly recommend this place.

A very lovely location. Will keep you fit if you love to walk. The hill to accomadation got easier as the week went on.
