This stylish cottage with decked terrace, garden and views of the sea has a beach, shop and pubs within walking distance, located in Treaddur Bay on Holy Island, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Sleeping four plus two in the bunk bedroom (suitable for children only at an additional cost) and welcoming one dog, this cottage is a wonderful base from which a family can explore the beauty of North Wales. Lace up your boots and clip on the lead, because there are plenty of walks and trails to explore. Your canine companion will be in doggy heaven sniffing their way along the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path, which passes right through nearby Treaddur Bay (0.5 miles). At the end of the day, return to the cottage and light the wood burner for an evening warming your paws.
Back from your adventures, put clothes and towels in the handy washing machine for a refresh, before settling down in the lounge. Relax into the comfy sofa, put drinks on the coffee table, and watch a film on the Smart TV. Don’t forget to lay out Fido’s favourite blanket too – the best spot before the fire for your top dog! Cook up family meals in the kitchen and sit down at the table in the pretty conservatory for food with a view. When it’s time for bed, let sleeping dogs lie and climb the stairs to the bedrooms, each with sea views and a bathroom or en-suite. Let the morning in over breakfast: open the conservatory’s French doors onto the decked terrace and garden or take a cup of tea out to the patio. There’s also a BBQ for dining alfresco, where you can grill a tasty treat for your hound.
For a walk back in time, stroll over to Trefignath Burial Chamber (1 mile). Your dog will love discovering the new smells of Penrhos Coastal Park (3.5 miles) and Breakwater Country Park (4.5 miles), as well as feeling the sand in their paws at one of the area’s many beaches. Holyhead town centre, with its Maritime Museum, cafes, and shops, is a mere 2-mile drive.
